Religion may exert a beneficial effect on both physical and mental-health.[1] Thinking in the same way, a researcher explored therapeutic benefits for patients and the importance of a theological framework focusing on the value of the importance and experience of participating in simple ritual to
name hopes.[2]
Concerning the perceptions of healthcare chaplains’ involvement in hospital, the chaplain involvement in organ procurement issues and clinical assistance can help to ensure a holistic and ethically appropriate practice and suggested that the chaplains could be better utilized in both organ procurement and training of the clinicians.[3] A group of researcher examined the Muslim and Non-Muslim chaplains’ approaches to pastoral care used with Muslim patients in New York City hospital.[4]
 In the same vein, a group of researcher identified the four central roles of Imams in healthcare which are; encouraging healthy behaviours through scripture-based messages in sermons, performing religions rituals around life events and illness, advocating for Muslim patients and delivering cultural sensitivity training in hospitals and assisting healthcare decisions for Muslims.[5]
