A PERFECT EXAMPLE OF A VALENDICTORY SPEECH. LEARN HOW TO WRITE A VALENDICTORY SPEECH/ESSAY(1)

Good day, the proprietor and his wife, distinguished guests, parents and guardians, teachers, fellow students, other ladies and gentlemen. Let me start by thanking the school authorities for giving me the great honour to stand here and be the valedictorian of this gracious ceremony. But certainly there would be no valedictory service and certainly no ‘us’ without our
competent, knowledgeable, hardworking and reliable teachers. It’s so nice to have them in our lives, they have a lot than I (we) can really mention. And today, we stand as a product of their God-given abilities.
I would also love to thank everybody that made our sessions worth taking, including the beaters and the beaten, the humorous, and the vendors. You see, most of my classmates are foodies, so they take great pleasure in visiting the kitchen always. Being in the kitchen itself has been a wonderful experience, sometimes paying, sometimes just picking – we call it picking, not stealing. On this same note, I want to say a big shout out to our seniors for giving us their flaws and falls for our gains; and also our juniors, for making all our plans and steps effective and result-yielding. We say a big thank you to everybody that made our days.
The years I have spent in this prestigious institution is an awesome part of my life; I can’t get over them for the rest of my life. The remembrance of how things used to be will always be in my heath and on my mind. School in itself is another world of different values, norms, ethics, principles, terms, conditions....name it. Come to think of it, it’s always surprising, sometimes funny, sometimes annoying, sometimes challenging and demanding, and many times enervative. One day, you go home feeling like you should just quit learning once and for all. Another day, you feel like staying in school for the rest of your life, like something should just keep you in school. So it all comes down to this; no matter how you feel today in school, my fellow students, you will get over it. It’s the fact, right and simple. So, try to face it now while you still can. Life in school is too short to combine it with facebook chats, twitter wars and reality TV shows. It’s too short to spend all your days playing football in your daddy’s compound. I tell you it’s too short to combine your studies with visiting friends and engaging in irrelevant discussions. It’s too short to worry about how your skirt and shape attract school boys and to spend class hours combining and comparing love letters. It’s too short to keep wondering if girls like your hair cut shaved or crew cut and your lips black or red - which is still something I’m trying to figure out anyway.
