Last night we had a vigil and after coming back from vigil this morning, instead of sleeping, I decided to continue the movie I was watching, so I slept pretty late (probably later than everybody in the house). After some hours I woke up, saw that my folks were still sleeping but because I didn't want to make breakfast I went back to sleep (one of the tricks you play when you have about four girls in the house).
Last night we had a vigil and after coming back from vigil this morning, instead of sleeping, I decided to continue the movie I was watching, so I slept pretty late (probably later than everybody in the house). After some hours I woke up, saw that my folks were still sleeping but because I didn't want to make breakfast I went back to sleep (one of the tricks you play when you have about four girls in the house).
Sleeping longer and deeper was easy for me because by nature, I am a living testimony of Eccle 5:12a and Ps 127:2b (lol, it's spiritual something), don't forget the vigil and the film too, So I slept for hours, periodically waking up and then luring my self back to school. Lol, and I'm not that lazy o- just a lil bit.
Here's the gist. After sleeping for hours, my cousin came screaming, asking if this is how I'm going to be sleeping in Law School if I'm still sleeping by that time (sometime before 11am), she said mum said so.
Sometime later, my younger brother (the youngest in the house) came to the Ladies' side of the buildings that comprise our home to ask for me. From my room I heard another cousin of mine tell him in our sitting room that I've gone to Law School. Chai!
Ebunoluwa found it hard to believe, but she tried to jokingly convince him that I actually left for Law School very early that morning when he was still sleeping. The guy was dumbfounded.
And so was I as I lay on my bed. I was speechless. And suddenly I was scared. I was scared of going somewhere they wont all be, I was scared of going to an institution that runs just for a year and everyone expects you to do well, I was scared of going to a place where the lecturers will probably be weird and not relate with us like IFELAW lecturers...
Just then, the Holy Spirit came knocking, and closely behind Him was Chris Tomlin,
I know who goes before me
I know who stands behind
The God of Angel Armies is always by my side
The One who reigns forever
He is a friend of mine
The God of Angel Armies is Always By My Side.

I know that I only have to follow this God, and not let Him go. Whom shall I fear? What shall I fear?
What is that thing causing your heart to palpitate? Is there any fear (rational or irrational) making you pulsate and unnerved? Is it marriage, getting admitted into a new school, moving into a new environment, starting a new business, going into a new relationship, anything...? First, know that God is there for you, you only have to allow Him carry you on Eagle's Wings, He reigns forever and He is Faithful. Though darkness fills the night, it cannot hide the Light. God hears when you call, nothing formed against you shall stand. Answer the door, Jesus' there knocking, He wants to come in, eat with you and be beside you always (Rev 3:20).

[20]Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
